XenonStack is seeking a skilled Platform Engineer with expertise in Platform Development and Data/ML Operations Automation to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable platforms, with a focus on automation to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. This role requires proficiency in a wide range of technologies and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and reliable platform solutions using full-stack technologies.
• Implement automation strategies to streamline Application, Data, and Machine Learning Operations.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Optimize platform performance through continuous monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning.
• Develop and maintain documentation for platform architecture, configurations, and processes.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in platform engineering and automation.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentorship to foster a collaborative and learning-oriented culture.
• Drive innovation in platform design and development to enhance functionality and efficiency.
• Lead or contribute to architectural discussions and decisions for platform improvements.

 

Technical Requirements:

• Proficiency in full-stack development technologies, including but not limited to:
  - Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue.js
  - Backend: Golang, Node.js, Python, Java, C#
  - Databases: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis), Indexing Engines, In-Memory Data Stores
• Solid programming and troubleshooting skills.
• Solid understanding of Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, GCP) used for Platform Development.
• Solid understanding of Serverless, Micro-services, and event-driven architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficient in scripting languages (Shell, Python, PowerShell) for automation and task automation.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git for code collaboration and version management.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and debug complex issues in distributed systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).

• Experience with microservices architecture and container orchestration platforms (e.g., AWS ECR, AWS EKS).
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, including infrastructure as code, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
• Previous experience in a similar role within a high-growth startup or technology company.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (Scrum, Kanban, Jira).
