QA Engineer

Job Overview

Job Responsibilities:

Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, and reliability

Create, review, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on requirements

Identify, document, report, and track software defects using standard bug tracking and testing tools

Re-test fixed issues to verify proper resolution and prevent regression defects

Ensure overall software quality, stability, and compliance with specifications before release

Collaborate closely with developers and other stakeholders to analyze issues and ensure timely resolution

Participate in review meetings to understand requirements and improve testing coverage

Skills Required:

Good knowledge of software testing concepts, methodologies, and the SDLC

Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and observation skills

Basic understanding of QA tools, bug tracking systems, and test documentation

Ability to analyze problems, think logically, and propose effective solutions

Good written and verbal communication skills for clear defect reporting

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
