Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Support Engineer to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure network availability, performance, and security while providing timely technical support to internal users and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, and VPN networks
- Configure and support network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls
- Respond to network-related incidents and service requests within defined SLAs
- Perform routine network monitoring, diagnostics, and performance optimization
- Assist in implementing network security controls and best practices
- Document network configurations, processes, and incident resolutions
- Coordinate with IT teams and vendors for issue resolution and upgrades
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking devices
- Basic understanding of network security and monitoring tools
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills
Preferred
- Certifications such as CCNA or equivalent
- Experience in IT support or NOC environments
