Job Description Summary:

A Junior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) supports, monitors, and maintains Oracle database, MS

SQL database, and/or EBS R12, WebLogic application environments under senior guidance

Key Responsibilities

 Database Monitoring & Maintenance: Perform daily checks of database performance, space

utilization, and system health.

 Backups & Recovery: Execute routine backups and assist with disaster recovery tasks and

procedures.

 Security & User Access: Assign and manage user rights, permissions, and security policies.

 Support & Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot issues, perform database patching, and manage

application support (development and production).

 Object Management: Create and manage database structures (tables, views, indexes) and

maintain technical documentation.

 Application Monitoring: Perform daily checks of application components.

Required Skills and Qualifications

 Technical Knowledge: Understanding of Oracle & Microsoft SQL Database Architecture, SQL,

and/or EBS R12, WebLogic.

 Operating Systems: Linux/Windows.

 Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.

 Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.

Typical Experience Level

 0-2 years of hands-on experience with Oracle RDBMS, MS-SQL and MySQL.
