Job Overview

Position: Design Engineer

Experience: 6month – 3 Years

Location: Mylapore, Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare system designs, layouts, and technical drawings for home automation and AV projects

Develop wiring diagrams, schematics, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities)

Work closely with sales, project, and site teams to understand client requirements

Design solutions for:

Smart Lighting Systems

Home Automation Controls

Audio-Visual Systems

Security & Surveillance Systems

Ensure designs meet technical standards, client expectations, and project feasibility

Provide technical support during project execution and installation

Revise and update designs based on site conditions and client feedback

Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for product specifications and selection

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of AutoCAD / EPLAN / similar design tools

Understanding of electrical systems and low-voltage systems (ELV)

Basic knowledge of home automation & AV technologies

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

Good problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong coordination and communication abilities
