About the Role:

 

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Java / J2EE Programmer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Java, J2EE technologies, frameworks, and modern software development practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Java / J2EE applications.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Develop and maintain RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
• Work with frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, Struts, or JSF.
• Write efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, database developers, and QA teams.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 0-2+ years of hands-on experience in Java and J2EE development.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, JDBC, Servlets, JSP, and EJB.
• Proficiency with frameworks such as Spring (Core, Boot, MVC), Hibernate/JPA, Struts.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design (OOD) and design patterns.
• Experience with application servers such as Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic, or WebSphere.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience using version control systems (Git, SVN).
