Job Overview

An Internal Audit Executive at The Chennai Mobiles plays a critical role in ensuring financial discipline and operational efficiency across its extensive network of 126+ retail stores in Tamil Nadu. With a focus on “Discovering the Difference,” the executive ensures that high-volume sales of mobile phones, tablets, and accessories are recorded accurately and that company assets are protected.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Inventory Auditing & Control: Regularly verifying physical stock against records to prevent pilferage, identifying slow-moving items, and ensuring proper inventory management across branches.
• Cash Flow Verification: Auditing daily sales reports, cash collections, and deposit processes to ensure compliance with financial policies.
• Internal Compliance: Reviewing operational procedures to ensure adherence to company standards, tax laws, and statutory regulations.
• Process Improvement: Identifying deficiencies in the purchasing, selling, or operational processes and providing constructive recommendations to senior management.
• Documentation & Reporting: Preparing detailed audit reports, ensuring timely replies to audit memos, and maintaining comprehensive records.
