Profile : System Admin (Commvault Backup L1)

Roles & Responsibility :

1.  Day-to-day management of the Backup Solution, in a 24X7 basis round the clock model.
2. Monitoring and ensuring the smooth working of the Solution. Troubleshooting the issue in the solution and ensuring the 100% availability of manpower to manage the Backup service to customer departments.
3. Configuring the Backup policy as per the Bank’s IT Backup and Archival policies for the department’s IT application and scheduling the Backup.
4. Adding / releasing the storages as per the requirement under the Backup solution.
5. Scheduling and monitoring Backup jobs and restoring backup upon request from Application Owners (AOs).
6. Monitoring running Backup, coordinating, and troubleshooting with stakeholders for any backup failure.
7. Backup jobs reporting and capacity planning.
8. Supporting Integrated Business Continuity Exercise (IBCE)
9. Working with Backup Software Global support for resolving issues or escalations.
10. Creating and maintaining asset inventory as per bank’s requirement.
11. Creating and maintaining application owner to server mapping as per bank’s requirement.
12. Day to day admin tasks on Windows and Linux server as per Bank’s requirement.
13. Security patching, upgrade and vulnerability closure on Windows and Linux Server as per Bank’s Requirement.
14. Create and manage quality documentation as advised by Bank team
15. Participate in various audits and other security reviews

Qualification: Graduate from AICTE Affiliated / Approved institute.
Job Location : Hyderabad

Experience: 1-3 years experience on Commvault Backup Software, Windows OS, Linux OS, and their Security.

Mandatory Certification : Commvault Certified Professional.
Salary: 4LPA - 6LPA
