Roles and responsibilities

 

a. Passenger Safety and Emergency Procedures:

• Conducting pre-flight safety briefings for passengers.
• Ensuring all passengers comply with safety regulations.
• Demonstrating the use of safety equipment and emergency exits.

b. In-Flight Service:

• Serving meals, snacks, and beverages to passengers.
• Assisting passengers with special dietary needs.
• Handling requests for blankets, pillows, and other amenities.

c. Customer Service:

• Greeting passengers as they board the aircraft.
• Providing information on flight details, destination, and connecting flights.
• Assisting passengers with seating arrangements and luggage storage.

d. Cabin Cleanliness:

• Conducting pre-flight and post-flight cabin checks.
• Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the cabin throughout the flight.

e. Communication with Cockpit Crew:

• Maintaining regular communication with the cockpit crew.
• Reporting any issues or emergencies ly.

f. Medical Assistance:

• Providing basic first aid and assistance to passengers with medical needs.
• Coordinating with the cabin manager for more serious medical situations.

g. Security:

• Monitoring and ensuring the security of the cabin.
• Responding to and managing security-related situations.

h. Conflict Resolution:

• Resolving conflicts or issues among passengers diplomatically.
• Handling disruptive or unruly passengers with the support of the cabin manager.

i. Language and Communication Skills:

• Communicating effectively in multiple languages if required.
• Making announcements and conveying information clearly to passengers.

j. Compliance with Regulations:

• Ensuring compliance with airline policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Staying informed about updates to safety protocols and procedures.

k. Team Collaboration:

• Collaborating with other cabin crew members to ensure seamless service.
• Supporting and assisting colleagues as needed.

l. Administrative Tasks:

• Completing required paperwork, such as incident reports and service records.
• Keeping track of inventory and reporting any shortages.

m. Training and Development:

• Participating in ongoing training programs for safety and service updates.
• Mentoring and assisting in the training of new cabin crew members.
