Position: Field Engineer – Telecom Deployment

Location: PAN India

Experience: 0–2 Years

Salary Range: INR 15,000 – 25,000 per month

Qualification: Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc (IT/Electronics/Telecom)

Job Responsibilities:

• Installation and commissioning of Telecom equipment at customer sites.
• Rack mounting, cabling, and connectivity of Telecom, IP, and Optical Network equipment.
• Power-on activities and initial hardware validation.
• Equipment integration with Network Management Systems (NMS).
• Conduct ATP/SAT testing and basic troubleshooting.
• Alarm verification, health checks, and acceptance testing.
• Coordination with NOC, Project Managers, and customer teams during deployment activities.
• Preparation of installation reports, test reports, and site documentation.
• Support migration, upgrade, and swap activities as per project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during site execution.

Preferred Technical Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Telecom Networks, IP Networking, DWDM, OTN, MPLS, or GPON.
• Experience working on OEM equipment such as Nokia, Cisco, Ciena, Huawei, Juniper, or Ericsson is preferred.
• Familiarity with test tools, fiber connectivity, and network troubleshooting.
• Ability to travel extensively and work at customer locations.
