Job Responsibilities

1. Learn on the job while providing support for cloud infrastructure, kubernetes, DevOps

2. Understand customer environments, cloud architecture, network and applications to ensure that the customer’s solution on cloud is running smoothly

3. Define, implement, tweak monitoring, logging and uptime - making sure we know issues before the customer does

4. Work in rotational shifts 24x7, perform monitoring and triage of the issues reported on cloud services and resolve issues based on standard operating procedure

5. Perform health checks based on documented procedures to prevent issues

6. Categorize and prioritize the issues reported and engage the resolver groups and managers as needed for the critical issues

7. Manage escalations and customer communication at 1st level

8. Identify the recurring incidents and record them as problems

9. Provide recommendations for automations for incident managements

Qualifications Is Education overrated? Yes.

We believe so. However there is no way to locate you otherwise. So unfortunately we might have to look for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from a reputed institute or you should be programming from 12. And the latter is better. We will find you faster if you specify the latter in some manner. Not just a degree, but we are not too thrilled by tech certifications too ... :)

To reiterate: Passion to tech-awesome, insatiable desire to learn the latest of the new-age cloud tech, highly analytical aptitude and a strong ‘desire to deliver’ outlives those fancy degrees!

1. 0-1 years experience in Cloud Infrastructure and Operations domains and IT operational experience.

2. Good analytical, communication, problem solving, and learning skills.

3. Knowledge on programming against cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform and lean development methodologies.

4. Strong service attitude and a commitment to quality.

5. Willingness to work in shifts.
