Trainee Engineer- Female (Mech or Automobile)

Job Overview

• Complete all training modules and evaluations assigned by mentors to master automotive engineering fundamentals and proprietary company workflows.
• Assist senior engineers in the research, design, and 3D modeling of automotive components, chassis, and powertrain systems using CAD and simulation software.
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) guidelines for manufacturing and design purposes.
• Participate in prototype assembly, conduct routine structural or thermal analysis, and support physical or virtual testing to evaluate part reliability.
• Analyze engineering test data, identify root causes of component failure, and propose practical design modifications.
• Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation, test reports, and design updates in compliance with industry quality and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure that mechanical systems meet necessary performance, durability, and cost constraints.
• Attend daily meetings, observe existing engineering strategies, and offer actionable suggestions to improve overall design and development processes
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines during all design and testing phases of the vehicle development lifecycle.
