Job Summary

  • Role Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled LabVIEW Developer to design and implement automated test and measurement solutions using NI LabVIEW and NI hardware (PXI, cDAQ, cRIO). The role involves developing modular, reusable code, integrating instruments via GPIB, Serial, CAN, and Ethernet, and ensuring accurate data acquisition and reporting. Responsibilities include creating test sequences, dashboards, and calibration routines, troubleshooting systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines.

    Requirements:

    • Proficiency in NI LabVIEW and DAQmx/VISA drivers.
    • Experience with NI hardware and instrument control.
    • Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, Modbus, SCPI).
    • Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
    • TestStand for automated test sequencing.
    • LabVIEW Real-Time & FPGA for deterministic systems.
    • Basic scripting in Python/C/C++ for utilities or driver integration.
    • Understanding of data acquisition principles, signal processing, and calibration.
    • Instrument Control: Ability to interface with instruments using GPIB, Serial (RS-232/485), CAN, Modbus, Ethernet/IP.
    • Version Control: Basic knowledge of Git or SVN for code management.
    • Debugging & Error Handling: Skills in troubleshooting LabVIEW applications and hardware integration issues.
