Job Summary -

Sahajanand Infotech is looking for a skilled Android Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Android SDK, modern development practices, and a passion for building scalable, user-friendly mobile applications.

 

Key Responsibilities -

Design and develop advanced Android applications using Java and/or Kotlin

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, backend, QA, product) to define and implement application features

Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries

Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness

Fix bugs, troubleshoot issues, and improve app stability

Follow best practices for mobile architecture (MVVM/MVP)

Participate in code reviews and maintain clean, reusable code

Stay updated with the latest Android trends and technologies

 

Required Skills & Qualifications -

Strong experience in Android development

Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin

Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack components

Understanding of XML layouts and Material Design guidelines

Experience with REST APIs, JSON, Retrofit/Volley

Familiarity with Git or other version control systems

Knowledge of mobile app lifecycle and performance optimization

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

 

Preferred Skills (Good to Have) -

Experience with Firebase (Crashlytics, Analytics, Push Notifications)

Knowledge of Room, SQLite

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and app publishing on Play Store

Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology

Experience with third-party payment gateways or maps (Google Maps)

 

Education -

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Relevant experience may substitute for formal education
