Role Summary :
As a Robotics Integration & Field Engineer, you will lead the end-to-end process of building and deploying robotic systems. This includes hardware integration, chassis setup, sensor calibration, and on-site implementation. You’ll work across mechanical, electrical, and software domains to ensure our symbolic robots operate reliably in real-world environments such as hotels, exhibitions, and retail spaces.
Key Responsibilities :
• Hardware Integration & Assembly:
Assemble robotic systems including chassis, propulsion, power, and sensor subsystems. Work with BLDC motors, ESCs, actuators, and wiring harnesses.
• System Setup & Testing:
Build and test prototypes, conduct unit and integration testing, and validate performance through field trials.
• Software & Controls Integration:
Integrate sensors (LiDAR, cameras, IMUs), implement control algorithms (PID, motion control), and manage ROS/ROS2 environments.
• Deployment & Exhibition Readiness:
Install and calibrate robots on-site, adapt systems to operational environments, and support live demonstrations.
• Field Support & Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Documentation & Collaboration:
Document integration workflows, calibration procedures, and maintenance protocols. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Safety & Compliance:
Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards such as ISO, CE, and UL.
