IT Executive Full-time

We are currently seeking a skilled IT Executive for our Information Technology team. As an IT Executive, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, serving as the initial point of contact for end-users. Your primary responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving technical issues while collaborating with senior IT staff as needed. You will be instrumental in supporting the complete life cycle of computer hardware, software, and networking systems, from installation and configuration to ongoing maintenance.


Your responsibilities: 

• As the initial point of contact, diagnose and resolve end-user technical issues and escalate to senior IT staff as needed.

• Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and networking systems.

• Deliver technical assistance to employees, resolving IT issues through troubleshooting.

• Participate in user onboarding and the setup of IT equipment and accounts.

• Conduct routine system checks and updates to ensure optimal performance and security.

• Work with accounting to create purchase requisitions and maintain the usable inventory of desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software.

• Provide SME level troubleshooting on file server, IIS, SharePoint, Office 365, VMware, Linux, Windows, and in-house application operations.

• Monitor all identified systems and services utilizing approved tools.

• Assist with maintenance of servers and network services.

• Manage and provide support on cloud platforms with AWS, Azure, or other public cloud providers.

• Participate in project planning meetings for IT projects.

• Research new technologies and provide recommendations for process improvements.

• Document IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

• Manage IT inventory and track assets.

• Stay current with emerging IT trends and technologies.

• Provide on-call and recall support as required to sustain 24/7/365 operations.

• Perform other duties as assigned.


Essential Qualifications: 

• 2+ years’ experience in system administration.

• Associate or higher degree in a related field.

• Extensive experience with Desktop, Server, Networking, and VMware.

• Advanced knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues.

• Ability to respond to help desk requests after hours on a limited basis.

• Ability to multi-task and perform effectively under pressure.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
