Inpatient DRG Coder (IPDRG Coder)Full-time

Job Description:

• Assign ICD-10-CM and PCS codes for inpatient encounters.
• Apply appropriate MS-DRG / APR-DRG based on coding and documentation.
• Review charts to ensure coding accuracy and DRG optimization.
• Identify documentation gaps and query physicians when required.
• Ensure coding compliance with UHDDS and federal regulations.

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and DRG logic.
• Experience with inpatient hospital coding.
• Strong analytical and interpretation skills.
• Good understanding of reimbursement methodologies and coding guidelines.
