Key R&D Roles & Responsibilities

Design Engineer (R&D): Focuses on automotive lighting design using CATIA V5, developing new lighting solutions, and handling PDM (Product Data Management) applications.SMD/Process Engineering (R&D/PED): Focuses on PCB assembly (SMT/SMD) processes, supporting new product introduction (NPI), and improving process efficiency.Testing/Validation: Conducting laboratory testing to ensure product quality and adherence to regulatory/homologation standards.

Product Development: Assisting in new product introduction (NPI) and process setup activities.Troubleshooting: Performing root cause analysis (RCA) for production and design issues.Documentation: Preparing technical drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and design reviews.Customer Coordination: Working with CFT (Cross Functional Teams) and handling engineering change requests (ECR).

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma (Mechanical/Electronics/Automotive).Experience: 0–2 Years (Freshers are eligible).Technical Skills: Knowledge of CATIA V5, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), PCB assembly, or SMD/SMT processes.Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, communication, and a strong problem-solving mindset.
