  • Electromagnetic and Thermal analysis of Electric machines.
  • Analysis and validation of designs with FEA calculations.
  • Characterize machine performance for basic sizing and performance estimations using analytical tools.
  • Trade-off studies to identify motor topology.
  • Contribute in customizing tool sets for motor analysis.
  • Close cooperation with internal development departments, customers and suppliers.
  • Internal and external presentation of project results.
  • Support of acquisition work in the field of electric motor development.
  • Design and testing of electric motor for current and future Industrial and mobility applications.
  • Electrical engineering focus on the electromagnetic motor design.
  • Analysis and optimization with equations and FEA on thermal and electromagnetic modelling.
  • Ownership of components from concept, design, testing, validation, and production release and support.
  • Collaboration with supply chain, vendor and manufacturing engineers.
  • Continuously evaluate new technologies and design improvements to develop the most power dense,
  • efficient, low cost, and reliable electric motor.
  • Sizing of Electrical Machines for various voltage range and power ratings.
  • RFQ Handling-Product selection.
  • Benchmarking of Electrical machines for Industrial, Rail Vehicle & Electric Vehicle applications
  • Developing Motors along with PD team.
  • Assistance for Motor controller development providing necessary electric machine data for the Controller development.
  • Failure analysis of Development.
  • Testing and performance evaluation.
  • Documentation of motor design.
  • Good knowledge of IEC, NEMA, IEEE, IS standards for Design and testing of Electric Machines.
  • Knowledge of Insulation scheme Selection for various Voltage ratings
  • Strong Theoretical Knowledge in Electric machine sizing and design.
  • Excellent capability in design and analysis of electric machines required.
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D magnetic FEA required.
  • Proficiency in electric machine design programs required.
  • Proficiency in Electrical & thermal FEA preferred.
  • Very good knowledge of traction machine control methods, implementation and test
