Job Title: Accessibility Engineer (Fresher)

Location: Chennai

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Accessibility Engineer (Fresher) to support the development of inclusive digital products by ensuring compliance with accessibility standards. Candidates must hold a valid accessibility certification and demonstrate a strong interest in creating user-friendly experiences for all users, including people with disabilities.

Mandatory Requirement:

Certified in accessibility (IAAP CPACC / WAS or equivalent – mandatory)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform accessibility testing for web and mobile applications

Identify and report issues based on WCAG 2.1/2.2 guidelines

Use tools such as Axe, WAVE, or Lighthouse for audits

Conduct keyboard and screen reader testing (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver)

Collaborate with developers and designers to resolve accessibility issues

Document defects and provide remediation recommendations

Required Skills:

Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and accessibility principles

Understanding of WCAG, ADA, and Section 508

Strong analytical and communication skills

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field
