Position Overview
TheIT Support L2 / Network Engineer provides advanced technical support for users,
resolves complex incidents, and assists in maintaining and optimizing network and
systems infrastructure. This role acts as an escalation point for Level 1 support and
works closely with senior engineers to ensure high network availability, security, and
performance.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support
● ProvideL2technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
escalated from the service desk.
● Troubleshootcomplex incidents involving connectivity, authentication, system
performance, and application errors.
● Manageandresolveticketswithin agreed SLAs, ensuring clear documentation
and communication.
● Supportremoteandon-siteusers, including VIP/critical users.
NetworkEngineering
● Configure,monitor, and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches,
f
irewalls, and access points.
● ImplementandsupportVLANs,VPNs(IPSec/SSL), routing protocols (OSPF,
BGPbasic), STP, and QoS.
● Supportfirewall rules, NAT, and security configurations under the guidance of
senior engineers.
● Assistin network upgrades, expansions, and infrastructure improvement
projects.
● Monitornetworkavailability using tools such asSolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix, or
similar.
SystemsAdministration
● SupportWindowsServerand Linux environments, including Active Directory,
DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
● ManageOffice365,ExchangeOnline, Intune, and endpoint security solutions.
● Assistwith servermaintenance, patching, backup systems, and virtualization
(VMware/Hyper-V).
Required Skills & Qualification

● 2–5yearsof experiencein IT Support orNetwork Engineering.
● Strongknowledgeof TCP/IP, routing/switching, VLANs, VPNs, wireless
technologies.
● Experiencewith Cisco, HP,Mikrotik, Fortinet, or similar network equipment.
● Proficiency in WindowsServer, ActiveDirectory, Office 365, and endpoint
management.
● Understanding of firewalls, network security concepts, and monitoring tools.
● Ability to troubleshoot independently and work well under pressure.
● Excellentcommunication, documentation, and customer service skills.
