About the Role

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Production Design Engineer to join our growing team at our Woodworks factory.

The Candidate will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and delivering production-ready designs while ensuring feasibility, manufacturability, quality, and operational efficiency. This role requires expertise in CAD software, production drawings, BOM preparation, and strong understanding of solid wood and aluminium manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed 2D & 3D production and assembly drawings
Create and optimize product designs for functionality and manufacturability
Prepare BOM, BOQ, cutting lists, and production documentation
Coordinate with Architects, Engineers, Fabricators & Project Teams
Conduct design reviews and incorporate stakeholder feedback
Support production teams with technical solutions and process improvements
Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and industry standards
Maintain design databases, specifications, and project trackers
Collaborate with procurement teams for material selection and sourcing
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across design and production processes
