Role: DevOps Engineer

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

Employment Type: Full-time

Precision Group is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with 13 years of experience to join our Chennai team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automating and streamlining development and operations processes, building and maintaining tools for deployment and monitoring, and supporting development and production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable application deployments.

Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.

Monitor system performance and ensure high availability, scalability, and security of applications.

Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and improve system architecture.

Manage and support cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployments, integrations, and system configurations.

Implement and maintain containerized environments using Docker and support orchestration using Kubernetes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

13 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or related role.

Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Bamboo.

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

Basic to intermediate experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Working knowledge of Linux systems and version control tools such as Git.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Administrator) are an added advantage.
