Software Engineer Trainee

Job Overview

1. Design, build, and maintain highly scalable backend services for our fintech payment infrastructure.

2. Write clean, testable, and efficient code following modern software development lifecycle best practices.

3. Develop and optimize RESTful APIs to integrate with merchant terminals and financial systems.

4. Optimize database queries and schemas using relational systems like MySQL for high-speed transactions.

5. Ensure system reliability by implementing robust multithreading, exception handling, and performance tuning.

6. Collaborate with product managers and quality assurance teams to deliver secure financial features.

7. Participate actively in peer code reviews to maintain high coding standards and system security.

8. Deploy containerized applications using Docker and manage continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

9. Utilize Git for version control, branching strategies, and seamless feature rollouts across engineering teams.Investigate and resolve production defects, addressing performance bottlenecks quickly within our payment processing ecosystem.

10. Work in Agile squads, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and project retrospectives.

11. Build modern, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces or dashboards for merchant portals using frontend frameworks.
