About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-focused QA Engineer Fresher who can ensure the reliability, performance, and usability of our web and AI-based applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying bugs, and ensuring product quality before release. This role is perfect for candidates eager to start their career in software testing and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements, functional flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Design and execute test cases and test scenarios for web applications and APIs.
• Perform manual testing, including functional, regression, smoke, sanity, & UAT support.
• Identify, log, track, and verify bugs using bug tracking tools.
• Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes
• Perform basic API testing using tools like Postman.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Assist in preparing test reports and documentation.
• Ensure software quality by following defined QA processes and guidelines

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Knowledge of software testing concepts and methodologies
• Familiar with bug tracking and test management tools
• Familiarity with manual testing techniques
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
• Internship or training experience in QA/testing
