  • Job Description – Sales Manager (Rental Division)

    Department: Sales & Rental Operations
    Reports To: General Manager / Director – Sales & Marketing


    Job Summary:

    The Sales Manager – Rental Division will be responsible for developing and managing rental sales operations, achieving revenue targets, and ensuring maximum utilization of the rental fleet. The role involves leading the sales team, identifying new rental opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and driving growth in the rental business.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase rental business and achieve revenue targets.
    • Manage, guide, and motivate the rental sales team to deliver high performance.
    • Generate new leads and expand the client base through networking, field visits, and industry connections.
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, contractors, and key accounts.
    • Ensure maximum fleet utilization and timely renewal of rental contracts.
    • Negotiate rental rates, terms, and agreements with clients.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
    • Collaborate with operations and service teams to ensure smooth delivery, maintenance, and customer satisfaction.
    • Prepare rental sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis for management.
    • Drive collection of rental payments and ensure compliance with company credit policies.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
    • 2+ years of proven sales experience, with at least 2 years in rental sales (equipment, vehicle, or machinery rental preferred).
    • Strong understanding of rental business models, pricing strategies, and fleet utilization.
    • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
    • Strong client relationship management abilities.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
    • Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets.
    • Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients.
