Job Description – Desktop Support Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Provide end‑user desktop support for Windows systems and workplace devices.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
Perform L1 level network troubleshooting, including LAN connectivity, IP conflicts, and basic switch/port checks.
Offer hands‑and‑feet support for backend teams on network, server, and application‑related incidents.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot network printers and shared printers.
Support Office 365 applications including Outlook setup, mailbox issues, Teams, and OneDrive.
Install, update, and troubleshoot coverage/compliance software as per company standards.
Ensure timely escalation of unresolved issues to higher support teams.
Maintain proper documentation of tickets, resolutions, and daily activities.
Provide remote support when required using approved support tools.
Ensure compliance with IT policies, security guidelines, and asset management processes.
Possess good communication skills with a customer‑centric approach.
Demonstrate knowledge of DHCP, DNS, Windows OS configuration, and basic networking concepts.
Ability to prioritize tasks, troubleshoot under pressure, and support users effectively.
