ob Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Linux Support Engineer to provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for Linux-based systems. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, experience with Linux administration, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment ensuring system stability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and related infrastructure.

Provide Level 1/2 support for Linux systems, addressing incidents and service requests.

Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of critical services.

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues related to Linux environments.

Apply security patches, updates, and perform regular system audits.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.

Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.

Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Strong knowledge of Linux distributions (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.).

Familiarity with shell scripting (Bash, Python preferred).

Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls).

Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, etc.).

Knowledge of virtualization and cloud platforms (VMware, AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Linux certification (RHCSA, RHCE, or equivalent).

Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Good documentation and organizational skills.
