We are hiring Business Development Executives for PhonePe
Job Type: Full-time
Work Timings: 9.30 AM to 6.30 PM
Location: Chennai
Role Summary:
This is a field-based sales role where the candidate will meet merchants, promote PhonePe products, and complete onboarding activities. The job requires daily travel within the assigned area and regular interaction with shop owners.
Daily Responsibilities:
Selling the PhonePe Soundbox to new and existing merchants
Revisiting previously contacted merchants for follow-up activities
Completing onboarding and documentation for new merchants
Building and maintaining strong relationships with shop owners
Explaining product features, benefits, and usage clearly
Achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
Handling basic merchant queries and ensuring satisfaction
Reporting daily activities to the team lead or manager
Salary and Benefits:
Take-home salary of Rs. 23,000
Petrol allowance of Rs. 2,500 per month
Performance-based incentives up to Rs. 30,000
Requirements:
A bike is mandatory for field travel
Ability to speak Tamil clearly and confidently
Interest in sales and merchant interaction
Freshers and experienced candidates can apply
