Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
Collect, process, and analyze geospatial data from various sources.
Create, update, and maintain GIS maps, layers, and geodatabases.
Perform digitization, georeferencing, data conversion, and topology corrections.
Conduct spatial analysis (buffering, overlay, network analysis, etc.).
Prepare thematic maps, charts, and GIS reports as per project requirements.
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and quality control.
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS data into enterprise systems.
Support field survey teams with mapping guidance and data validation.
Manage and optimize GIS workflows to improve project efficiency.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong proficiency in GIS tools such as:
ArcGIS / ArcGIS Pro
QGIS
ERDAS Imagine (optional)
AutoCAD Map 3D (preferred)
Hands-on experience with digitizing, editing, and geospatial analysis.
Knowledge of coordinate systems, projections, and spatial data formats.
Ability to handle raster and vector datasets.
Basic understanding of scripting (Python/ArcPy) is an advantage.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
