About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Annotation Specialist to support AI and machine learning initiatives. The role involves labeling, categorizing, and validating data (text, images, audio, or video) to improve the accuracy and performance of AI models. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to follow defined guidelines with consistency.

Key Responsibilities

Perform accurate data labeling across multiple formats such as text, image, audio, and video.

Understand project-specific annotation guidelines and apply them consistently.

Validate and review annotated data for quality, accuracy, and completeness.

Work closely with QA teams to resolve annotation-related issues.

Maintain productivity and quality benchmarks as defined by the project.

Report errors, ambiguous cases, and guideline gaps to project leads.

Support continuous improvement of annotation processes and tools.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured guidelines.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts (preferred but not mandatory).

Proficiency in working with annotation platforms/tools (e.g., Labelbox, CVAT, Dataloop, Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth).

Good communication skills (written and verbal).

Ability to work independently and within team deadlines.
