Position Overview:

The Business Development Executive is responsible for actively promoting and selling a company's products or services to potential customers in their designated geographical area. This role requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual who can build and maintain customer relationships while achieving sales goals/targets. In the case of our company the sales representative is required to visit colleges for Business to Business collaborations.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  1. Prospecting: Identify potential clients within the assigned territory and prioritize based on value.
  2. Customer Engagement: Initiate contact via calls, emails, or in-person meetings. Build strong relationships, address customer needs, and provide solutions.
  3. Product Expertise: Deep understanding of company offerings, effectively communicate benefits, and address customer queries persuasively.
  4. Sales Presentations: Deliver engaging presentations to showcase product value.
  5. Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Develop strategies to surpass targets.
  6. Territory Management: Efficiently manage sales territory, prioritize visits, and maximize sales opportunities.
  7. Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular reports to management.
  8. Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, competitor products, and customer preferences. Provide feedback to the company.
  9. Travel: Prepare for frequent travel within the territory, including overnight stays.

 

Requirements

 

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business or a related field may be preferred.
  2. Proven experience in sales, preferably in a field sales role.
  3. Freshers must have knowledge of sales.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  6. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  7. Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  8. A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  9. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  10. Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
