Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 CTC per month (can be adjusted)

Salary Credit Date: 10th of every month

Work Timing: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (30 minutes lunch break)

Week Off: Sunday and Company-decided Major Public Holidays

Other Perks: After 6 months, 1 paid leave per month (as per company policy)

Job Description

MediaTechTemple is looking for a Backend Developer with hands-on experience in Python and Django / Django REST Framework to work on API development, backend feature implementation, and system integrations. The candidate will collaborate closely with the Senior Software Engineer to build stable, scalable, and secure backend solutions for internal and client-facing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python (Django / Django REST Framework)

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend business logic

• Implement validations and backend workflows

• Integrate third-party APIs and internal services

• Debug, fix bugs, and improve application performance

• Assist in handling production issues and backend support tasks

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

• Collaborate with Frontend and QA teams for smooth feature delivery

• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement activities

Requirements: Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Python programming

• Experience with Django / Django REST Framework

• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON

• Working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL)

• Familiarity with Git/version control systems

• Basic understanding of backend architecture and workflows

• Problem-solving mindset and logical thinking

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Freshers with strong Python + Django projects may apply

Good to Have

• Experience with background jobs, schedulers, or async tasks

• Basic understanding of Linux / server environments

• Exposure to API integrations, especially in fintech or compliance-related systems
