Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Residential Network Support Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team in Thiruvarur and Nagapattinam who will be working from residence. You'll play a vital role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving network systems to ensure high availability and performance at our client sites which includes Collectorate office, Sub Registrar office and District courts etc.

Fundamentals: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, subnetting, VLANs, OSI model.

Routing & Switching: Configuration and management of routers, switches, and protocols (OSPF, BGP).

Wireless Networking: Setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Wi-Fi, LTE, 5G.

Operating Systems: Knowledge of computer OS, especially Linux, for hardware/software management.

Scripting/Automation: Python, Bash, PowerShell for automating tasks and configurations (Ansible).

Monitoring Tools: Proficiency with tools like Nagios, SolarWinds, Zabbix for performance analysis.

Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Diagnosing and resolving complex issues.

Communication: Interacting with technical and non-technical users.

Analytical Thinking: Using logic and reasoning for data-driven decisions.
