Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing and implementing quality database solutions to meet complex project requirements as per defined timelines.

• Develop, implement, and optimise stored procedures and functions using T-SQL.

• Creating Technical Design documents.

• Review and interpret ongoing business integration requirements.

• Analyse existing SQL queries for performance improvements.

• Data cleansing and data correction work, Performance tuning.

• Build and manage data ingestion pipelines using SQL, Spark SQL.

• Query performance tuning and optimization.

• Assisting developers, implementation and support staff with putting together complex database queries and stored procedures.

• Monitor and manage data ingestion pipelines.

• Design and maintain data models.

• Suggest new queries.

• Develop procedures and scripts for Integration.

• Development of high-quality integration deliverables using WSO2 ESB / EI.

• Develop API, Proxy services, XSLT, Scheduler, Endpoints, sequences, message processors.

• Development of JSON Spec using Swagger or API CURIO.

• Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.

• Suggesting new processes, tools, techniques etc to improve the quality of work.

• Manage source data access security.

• Configure authentication and authorization.

• Manage and enforce data policies and standards.

• Monitor databases and data processing for a specified scenario.

• In-depth understanding of data management (e. g. permissions, security, and monitoring).

• Provide timely status on work items, delays, risks, and challenges.

 

Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience as a SQL Developer.
• Experience in optimizing the queries, writing Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views 
etc.
• Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming.
• Extensive experience in SQL Tuning.
• SQL refactoring skills.
• Knowledge about SQL functions and CTE.
• Experience in monitoring SQL Server logs and recovery model, ensure the backup operations, 
batch commands, or other scripts and processes have completed successfully.
• Experience in Implementing Database Mirroring and Log shipping with SQL server.
• Experience in SQL Server Database Administration/ Development using MS SQL Server 
Management Studio.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Analysis services and/or .NET or PowerBI experience will be an 
added advantage.
• Ability to independently deliver complex development projects.
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, XML and WSO2 ESB.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Integration Services.
• Experience in an agile SDLC environment.
