Career Plan for Talent Acquisition Specialist

Talent Acquisition Specialist will be a part of core HR team and based on inherent capabilities, will have career progression opportunities to HR specialist, HRBP to OD roles in the long term company's growth.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  1. Talent Acquisition, Talent Management & Onboarding:
  1. Develop or implement recruiting strategies to meet current or anticipated staffing needs.
  2. Proactively chart out weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly plan on open positions and fulfil them within the stipulated time frame.
  3. Perform & post searches for qualified job candidates, using sources such as computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, media advertisements including job portals, job fairs, recruiting firms, or employee referrals etc.
  4. Conduct walk-In interviews for bulk hiring including advertisement, venue finalization, interview panel finalization and managing its MIS.
  5. Select qualified job applicants or refer them to managers, making hiring recommendations when appropriate.
  6. Contact job applicants to inform them of the status of their applications.
  7. Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranges travel, lodging, and meals;  facilitate interview process and their travel reimbursements.
  8. Should do headhunting in case of fulfilling niche positions at own or via Consultants if required.
  9. Interview job applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, or job skills etc.
  10. To build employer branding plan, constantly thrive to improve Employer Value Proposition and Employee Value Proposition at various platforms.
  11. Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need for frequent and regular openings.
  12. Recruitment through various channels and managing minimum external hiring cost of the company.
  13. Determines candidature merits and credibility based on Job specification, personal interviews, skills, experiences, qualifications, analyzing responses, verifying references, internal and external parity with company etc.
  14. Inform job applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions etc.
  15. Completing Selection formalities, issuing offer letter, letter of intent, on boarding of candidates, Designing Induction and Refresher Training Program for new joiners and capturing induction feedback and conduct impact analysis periodically
  16. Determine and capture salary expectations after selection and perform negotiation as per company’s band, level and grades for position fitment.
  17. Maintain & upload all relevant applicants and interview data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) as well as maintaining monthly recruitment MIS and trackers.

 

  1. Employee Engagement
  1. Plan & Schedule Induction & Orientation of new entrants before deploying them to their work locations.
  2. Capturing Training needs identified through PMS, recommended through HODs and as per management expectations and finalize Annual Training Calendar / plans.
  3. Advise management on organizing, preparing, or implementing retention strategies.
  4. Evaluation of Employees Effectiveness after post training session, periodically conduct impact analysis.
  5. In consultation with HR Head, finalize employee’s engagement and event calendar, its budgeting and its timely implementation i.e. Annual Get Together, Cricket leagues, Sports day, monthly festival celebrations and other engagement activities.
  6. Capture and maintain monthly training record in training MIS, nominate training participants, training attendance & other incidental records
