Hardware and Software Configuration:

Installing, configuring, and maintaining network devices like routers, switches, firewalls, and servers. 

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

Continuously monitoring network performance, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing network traffic for maximum efficiency and minimal downtime. 

Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:

Diagnosing and resolving network issues, including hardware failures, software malfunctions, and connectivity problems. 

Security Management:

Implementing and maintaining network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls, to protect data and systems from threats. 

Documentation and Reporting:

Documenting network configurations, processes, and procedures, as well as generating reports on network performance and security status. 

Collaboration:

Working with other IT professionals, such as network architects, system administrators, and security specialists, to ensure the overall health and security of the network. 

Staying Updated:

Keeping abreast of new technologies and best practices in networking, and recommending upgrades or changes to improve network performance and security. 

Network Design and Implementation:

Planning, designing, and implementing network infrastructure, including both local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
