About the Role

We are looking for a skilled IBM B2B Sterling Integrator with expertise in mapping and coding with EDI formats to join our team. As a Mapping and EDI Coding Specialist, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing B2B integration solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator software. Your primary focus will be on mapping data between different formats and coding EDI documents to meet client requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data mapping solutions to transform data between various formats (e.g., EDI, XML, flat files) using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator Mapping modules.
• Code and configure EDI document standards (e.g., X12, EDIFACT) within the Sterling B2B Integrator platform.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their EDI requirements and design mapping specifications accordingly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mapping and EDI coding issues during solution development and testing phases.
• Optimize mapping and coding processes to ensure efficient data exchange and integration between business partners.
• Document mapping specifications, EDI coding standards, and technical configurations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and clients on mapping and EDI-related matters.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in B2B integration technologies, particularly related to mapping and EDI standards.

Requirements and Skills

• 5 to 10 Years of relevant experience in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience working with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, with a focus on mapping and EDI coding.
• In-depth knowledge of EDI standards such as X12, EDIFACT, and XML.

• Proficiency in mapping tools and languages (e.g., IBM B2B Sterling Mapper, GENTRAN, XMLSpy).
• Strong programming skills in languages commonly used for B2B integration (e.g., Java, SQL, XPath).
• Familiarity with EDI protocols and communication methods (e.g., AS2, FTP, VAN).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and project teams.
• Relevant certifications in B2B integration and EDI (e.g., IBM Certified Solution Developer - Sterling B2B Integrator) are a plus.
