Job Summary

  • AC duct marketing job involves a blend of sales, marketing strategy, and technical knowledge to promote and sell HVAC ducting products or services (like duct cleaning) to a range of clients, from homeowners to large commercial builders. 

    Key Responsibilities

    A professional in this role will typically be responsible for:

    • Market Research: Conducting research to identify target audiences, new market opportunities, customer needs, and competitor strategies.
    • Strategy Development: Developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and sales strategies to boost brand visibility and drive market penetration.
    • Client Engagement & Sales: Identifying and targeting potential clients (contractors, builders, architects, consultants, property owners), building relationships, and closing sales deals.
    • Promotional Activities: Organizing and participating in trade shows, events, and product demonstrations, and developing necessary promotional materials and sales tools.
    • Digital Marketing: Utilizing digital platforms for lead generation through SEO, social media, email campaigns, Google Ads, and managing the company's online presence, including their Google Business Profile.
    • Technical Support: Providing technical support or coordinating with technical teams to ensure clients understand the product specifications and proper installation or service execution.
    • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Analyzing and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and sales performance, making data-driven decisions for future campaigns. 

    Necessary Skills and Qualifications

    • Experience: Proven experience in HVAC, industrial product marketing, or field sales, often requiring 3+ years in a relevant industry.
    • Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, especially ducting solutions or cleaning processes, and the ability to read blueprints is a significant advantage.
    • Communication: Excellent verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to effectively interact with diverse clients and teams.
    • Technical & Software Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM tools and marketing automation platforms (like HubSpot) is often required.
    • Education: A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is typically preferred.
