Job Overview

Job Title: Network Security Engineer (0.6–2 Years Experience)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Security Engineer with 6 months to 2 years of experience to join our cybersecurity team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure network infrastructures to protect organizational systems and data.

Key responsibilities include monitoring network traffic, identifying vulnerabilities, and responding to security incidents. The role involves configuring and maintaining firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint security tools. The candidate should assist in conducting security audits, vulnerability assessments, and patch management activities to ensure compliance with security policies.

The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching) and basic cybersecurity principles. Familiarity with security tools, SIEM platforms, and incident response processes is preferred. Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
