Job Description

We are hiring a Node.js Backend Developer with strong fundamentals in backend development, database management, real-time systems, and API performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain scalable REST APIs

Handle asynchronous operations efficiently

Design optimized database queries

Implement real-time features (WebSockets)

Debug and improve API performance

Follow proper Git workflow

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in Node.js

Strong understanding of Event Loop, Promises, Async/Await

Solid knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+, scope, type coercion)

Experience with SQL or MongoDB (Sequelize / Mongoose preferred)

Query optimization, indexing & projections

Data validation & error handling

Basic system design (real-time notifications using Socket.IO/WebSockets)

Git knowledge (clone, branch, commit, fetch vs pull, merge conflicts)

Debugging skills & API performance optimization (pagination, selective fields)

Knowledge of PM2 or similar process managers (preferred)
