Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager – Sales will be responsible for driving the growth of the company by identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and closing sales deals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B or B2C sales, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in assigned territories.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and field visits.
- Pitch solar energy solutions to potential clients – residential, commercial, and industrial.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and contracts.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Collaborate with the technical and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain records of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and other promotional events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer-centric approach.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
