Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate PHP Developer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining robust and scalable web applications using PHP and related technologies. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions and ensure seamless application performance and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain Applications: Write clean, efficient, and well-designed server-side code using PHP and relevant frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• Database Management: Design, integrate, and manage data storage solutions, primarily using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, ensuring data integrity and optimized performance.
• API Development and Integration: Build and consume RESTful APIs and backend services to connect applications with third-party services and front-end components.
• Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and project managers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and gather system requirements.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application and code issues in a timely fashion to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct unit testing, participate in code reviews, and follow industry best practices to ensure code quality, security, and scalability.
• Documentation and Best Practices: Produce detailed specifications and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, databases, and APIs.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously analyze and optimize existing systems for maximum speed and scalability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in PHP, object-oriented programming (OOP), and MVC design patterns.
• Experience with PHP web frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter, Yii).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
• Proficiency with code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Understanding of web security principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
