Build and integrate APIs: 

Develop application programming interfaces (APIs) and integrate them with other web services. 

Manage databases: 

Design and maintain databases, including writing efficient queries and optimizing performance. 

Collaborate with front-end developers: 

Work with front-end developers to integrate their work with the back-end application and ensure consistency across the platform. 

Ensure security and performance: 

Implement security best practices and optimize applications for speed and scalability. 

Troubleshoot and debug: 

Identify and resolve bugs and performance issues in the application and code. 

Create documentation: 

Document code and application processes for future reference and maintenance. 

Develop and maintain server-side logic: 

Write clean, reusable, and scalable PHP code to create and modify software and applications.
