Job brief:

We are looking for a passionate SQL and Business Intelligence Developer to join our “Business Operations and Strategy Analytics (BOSA)” team in Flex Corporate Strategy. The successful candidate will utilize SQL and BI for effective interpretation and display of data, for filtration, analysis, and management of data into organized chunks of information that synchronize with business goals.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform SQL queries - design, code, test, and aggregate the results to create useful information
• Database implementation and maintenance of system analytical tools. Map various databases used in the organization. Develop, design, and analyze data architecture and data warehouse solutions. Build workflows and KPIs
• Taking care of data storage, security, and backup mechanisms
• Convert the data into an understandable form and interactive BI Dashboards (in Tableau and Power BI) that can be easily used through reports and graphs for creating more business avenues
• Troubleshooting BI issues and creating a solution. Evaluate and enhance existing BI systems (Tableau and Power BI). Analyze existing applications, fix errors, and optimize tools, processes, and systems

 

Required Technical Skills:

• Database administration, SQL, RDBMS
• Data modeling and data warehousing. Experience in handling large data sets and data modeling
• Expertise in designing and building BI applications
• Experience with BI and reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI, etc.,
• Experience with Excel Dashboard visualization and Excel VBA macros automation
• Debugging or troubleshooting skills

• Needs to have strong communication skills in order to describe complex technical information to the non-BI developers in the company
