Logistics Coordinator JOB DESCRIPTION

DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:
The Logistics Coordinator team demands a dynamic role.
The Logistics Coordinator will act as a SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for all our Overseas Partners
The Logistics Coordinator team liaises with the Supplier and Buyer according to the direction/ Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) from buyers through our Partners.
Managing and controlling the shipments’ schedule/movements from the Supplier factory to Buyer’s warehouse.
Updating daily milestone developments of the shipments Coordinating with CHA/Transporters/other vendors to execute the shipments as per our procedure Monitoring the shipment process through Dox A (Booking), Operations, Documentation, and Accounts. Guiding the suppliers to complete the Customs clearance and cargo handover on time CONFIDENTIAL 2 Providing timely assistance throughout the shipment process to ensure customer satisfaction.
Planning the shipment by Ocean or Air with a tentative schedule of Delivery Intimating the problems or issues to our Partner on time Approving all the cost involvement in a shipment Need to track and update the shipment status to them on a daily basis End to end ownership and monitoring the shipment process.
REQUISITE CRITERIA:
➢ Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision
➢ Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.
➢ Strong client focus and commitment to continuous improvement; ability to proactively network and establish effective client relationships, and develop creative approaches and strategies to help the customer.
➢ Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in Hindi is an added advantage.
➢ Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as a team leader and member.
➢ Problem solver, able to troubleshoot issues independently and drive them to closure with minimal supervision
CHALLENGES:
• Working on agents’ time zones and effectively addressing their queries.
• Intimating the agent if the is any lapse in the shipment process and resolve it immediately.
WORK TIMINGS:
General Office timings are from 9:15 am to 6:15 pm with Lunch Break 1 pm to 2 pm.
Work requirements of this position may involve some travel and may require adjustments to the work schedule to support clients within different time zones.

Thorough knowledge and use of relevant computer software (MS Office – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

TRAINING:

Fully covered training in Logistics and all related activities will be provided at the time of Joining.
➢
Specialized department training by senior employees after the initial training for deeper understanding and equipment will be provided.
➢
Based on the scoring system during training, management reserves all rights to change the department. Hands-on training and complete assistance until the probationary period is guaranteed. Occasional, one-on-one, video training for special projects is also provided after analyzing the potential of the candidate.
