Job Overview

Responsible for providing first-level technical and functional support for ERP, CRM, and business applications used across all retail outlets and departments ensuring smooth operations through quick troubleshooting, accurate installation, and proactive follow-up on system issues, while assisting in application integration, database updates, and report generation to support business continuity and operational efficiency.

• ERP Installation, Configuration & Maintenance
• Perform installation and configuration of Gofrugal ERP software across client and server systems, ensuring seamless database connectivity and synchronization.
• Validate module readiness for billing, stock management, and reporting before store activation.
• Maintain version control, system backups, and connectivity logs to ensure operational readiness.
• Support data import/export activities between ERP and related applications.
• Perform basic troubleshooting for login, synchronization, or data posting errors and escalate complex issues to senior support.
• Technical Support & Issue Resolution
• Act as the first line of technical support for user-raised tickets through calls, chat, or remote sessions.
• Log, classify, and prioritize incidents based on business impact and escalate unresolved cases to higher-level teams.
• Track ticket resolution turnaround time (TAT) and ensure timely feedback to end users.
• Maintain clear and accurate issue documentation for audit and knowledge base reference.
• Analyse recurring issues and propose preventive measures or user training topics.
• Payment Gateway & Integration Support
• Assist in the configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of payment gateway integrations such as Razorpay and Paytm under senior guidance.
• Verify transaction flows between POS, ERP, and payment gateway systems to ensure accurate reconciliation.
• Monitor transaction logs for failures or mismatched entries and coordinate with finance teams for corrective actions.
• Maintain gateway credentials, sandbox details, and mapping records securely.
• Participate in validation exercises during new store or module rollouts.
• Data Validation, Stock Audit & Reporting
• Support periodic stock audits by validating item-wise data between physical and ERP records.
• Update stock details in ERP systems post verification to maintain data accuracy.
• Generate daily and monthly reports for stock discrepancies, system-posted transactions, and rectified entries.
• Assist in creating simple data extraction or transformation scripts to streamline audit reporting.
• Coordinate with warehouse and retail teams for closure of open discrepancies.
• Application Development Support & Maintenance
• Assist in maintaining the frontend and backend of web applications built using React.js and PHP under supervision.
• Perform minor bug fixes, UI corrections, and performance checks as guided by senior developers.
• Conduct testing of new features and validate integrations before production deployment.
• Support database management through basic query execution, indexing, and data backup operations.
• Contribute to the creation of user interfaces or dashboards that enhance ERP usability.
• Candidates who have taken TCS iON NPT - Network Engineer Assessment will be given preference.
