Job Title- Automation Tester

Job Summary-  Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 5 years of related experience.

Experience with Selenium Java with good hands-on experience.

Extensive experience with testing modern scripting language-based components.

Experience in writing sophisticated SQL queries.

Experience with JIRA, Micro-focus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins

Experienced in Agile/Waterfall, onsite/offshore work model and coordination.

In depth knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle (specifically the testing model, methodology, and processes).

Experience with front-end & back-end testing using Java and Selenium.

Detailed understanding of smoke testing, black-box, and non-black box testing, as well as regression testing.

Requires the ability to work well with both business clients and technical team and the ability to work independently, both individually and as part of a team.

Job mode- flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).

Job Role-

• Prepare, maintain, and execute test cases based on user stories; present results and track defects to closure
• Prepare, maintain, and execute automated test scripts
• Maintain traceability from business requirements through test cases to automated scripts
• Review test cases / automation approach with stakeholder to ensure comprehensive coverage and acquire feedback
• Track test execution breakthroughs, report on issues and risks with the potential to affect project timelines
• Construct appropriate end-2-end business scenarios through the application of a broad understanding of business objectives and goals
• Collaborate with delivery pipeline teams to drive adoption and resolve open issues.

• Identify dependencies for environmental and data requirements; manage and maintain environment and data.
• Provide mentorship to colleagues related to test coverage and test cases
• Develop a detailed understanding of the product being delivered
• Responsible for process compliance & associated documentationAligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; calls out appropriately

 

Basic Qualification- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualification- Selenium Java,  SQL queries, JIRA, Microfocus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins, Agile/Waterfall, software implementation lifecycle (specifically the testing model, methodology, and processes), front-end & backend testing using Java and Selenium, smoke testing, black-box, and non-black box testing, regression testing, Capital Market domain
