Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled LiDAR Engineer with practical experience in processing, interpreting, and analyzing LiDAR datasets. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of point cloud data, classification techniques, and standard LiDAR workflows used in surveying, mapping, and geospatial applications.
Technical Skills Required:
Proficiency in MicroStation for handling geospatial data and project workflows.
Hands‑on experience with TerraScan, including point cloud classification, filtering, and quality refinement.
Strong knowledge of performing Ground, Water, and Powerline classifications, ensuring accurate separation of terrain and feature classes.
Familiarity with TerraModeler for creating surface models, contours, and elevation-based outputs.
Requirements:
Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in LiDAR data processing with exposure to large‑scale datasets.
Basic understanding of LiDAR technology, point cloud structures, and geospatial data analysis methods.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective problem‑solving skills to ensure high‑quality deliverables.
