Design Engineer

A highly skilled Design Engineer specializing in the mechanical design of components for a wide range of industrial applications. Experienced in applying relevant engineering codes, standards, and best practices to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient designs. Proficient in material selection with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, material behavior, and overall fabricability to meet both performance and cost requirements.

Capable of developing detailed 3D models using SolidWorks, including complex components such as industrial valves and assemblies. Adept at preparing accurate and precise 2D part drawings with appropriate dimensional tolerances using AutoCAD. Experienced in creating comprehensive design reports and documentation tailored to specific customer requirements and project specifications.

Skills:

Strong technical expertise in engineering design principles and leading design software.

3D modelling of valves and mechanical components using SolidWorks.

Ability to develop and evaluate conceptual design options.

Analytical problem‑solving skills using ANSYS for finite element analysis.

Effective communication skills for technical discussions and client interactions.

Proficiency in design documentation, report preparation, and revision control.

Working knowledge of Excel, Mathcad, and engineering calculation tools.
